Petticoat Junction (1963)
S2E4 The Umquaw Strip
Sam, Charley, Floyd, and Uncle Joe are preparing for a reenactment of the treaty signing between the Umquaw Tribe and the C&FW Railroad, which granted land near Deadman’s Curve to the railroad. Joe believes this event will attract tourists and boost business at the hotel. Meanwhile, Norman Curtis wants the stockholders' meeting to occur at the Shady Rest, with Homer Bedloe in charge, ensuring no decisions negatively affect Kate or the valley's residents. Upon learning of Joe's reenactment, Bedloe discovers that the treaty was never officially signed. He informs the Umquaw, leading Chief Fleeteagle and Black Salmon to negotiate a lucrative deal, while Kate might secure an even better outcome.
