S2E31 The Chicken Killer

Hinky Mittenfloss, the newly appointed dog catcher, is on a relentless quest to capture Dog, convinced that Dog has murdered three chickens belonging to Luther Craig. Hinky brings Dog to the County Dog Pound, where a grim fate awaits. In desperation, Kate, Betty Jo, and Uncle Joe seek advice from lawyer Melvin Randall, who believes Kate can effectively argue their case in court. Initially reluctant, Judge Murdock permits the trial to move forward. With the assistance of a clever cat, Arnold the pig, and Dog, Kate nearly wins. However, when Dog snatches Joe's chicken sandwich, everything hangs in the balance—until Betty Jo awakens from her dream.
