S2E33 There's No Stove Like an Old Stove
Frustrated with the constant wood chopping for Kate's antiquated wood stove, Uncle Joe attempts to persuade her to invest in a modern electric range. He argues that the outdated stove is driving guests away due to the subpar meals. To bolster his case, Joe reaches out to renowned food critic Lucius J. Penrose, inviting him to sample Kate's cuisine. With a new oven and Penrose's endorsement, the hotel could thrive. Joe sabotages the old stove and informs Kate that a new one is on its way. When the new stove arrives, it requires assembly, and Penrose, unimpressed, reveals he came specifically to enjoy a meal prepared on a traditional wood burner. Consequently, Kate ends up cooking on the Cannonball's trusty old stove.
