S3E7 A Doctor in the House

Uncle Joe responds to an advertisement placed by Dr. Mathew Bailey, who seeks office space in exchange for complimentary medical care. Kate is skeptical, especially since the townspeople of Hooterville prefer Doc Stuart. However, when the girls catch sight of the dashing Dr. Bailey, they insist that Kate mustn't let him slip away. They set up an office for him near the hotel lobby, but Kate's concerns prove valid as the locals hesitate to visit the young physician. In a bid to attract patients, the girls and Uncle Joe embark on a promotional campaign, but it fails. An unintentional suggestion from Doc Stuart inspires Kate to devise a new strategy that takes an unexpected twist. Elsie Baker also makes an appearance as a local resident.
