S4E14 My Daughter the Secretary

The local Discussion Club has decided to send their secretary to a national convention for the weekend, fully funded. Billie Jo is the chosen one, but she’s reluctant to spend the whole weekend away from Steve. Meanwhile, Selma is adamant that a special vote is necessary to choose a permanent recording secretary, as she can't recall voting for Billie Jo initially. She supports Henrietta taking the trip instead. When the vote ends in a tie between Billie Jo and Henrietta, both Selma and Kate believe their daughters hold the key to resolving the deadlock, unaware that their daughters might have different priorities.
