Sam receives a telegram addressed to Kate from Betty Jo and Steve, who are on their honeymoon cruise to Hawaii. They plan to make a phone call at 4 PM the next day. Excitement fills the air as Kate and the family prepare eagerly for the call, with Sam and Kate doing everything possible to ensure the connection. As the clock ticks towards 4 PM, Kate, the girls, and Uncle Joe are dressed in their Sunday best at Sam's store, eagerly anticipating the call. Unfortunately, several issues arise, preventing the call from coming through. Later that night, Kate decides to reach out to the newlyweds, while Betty Jo and Steve adjust to married life.
