S5E29 Ring-a-Ding-Ding

As Steve returns home from a crop dusting convention, Betty Jo throws a grand welcome party. Guests soon notice that Steve is missing his wedding band. A curious Betty Jo discovers that Steve removed it to have it engraved, fulfilling a desire she had long wished for. They agree to never take off their rings again. However, while showing off her own engraved ring to Bobbie Jo, Betty Jo accidentally drops hers into the kitchen sink. Determined to keep this mishap from Steve, she enlists Uncle Joe’s help, but his efforts backfire. Desperate, she calls plumber Mr. Peck. Lacking cash, she reluctantly lets him keep the ring until she can pay. Uncle Joe then devises a plan to retrieve it.
