S6E4 The Valley Has a Baby

Betty Jo and Steve are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby. Steve suggests they temporarily relocate to the Shady Rest until the big day arrives. Meanwhile, Wendell has been tirelessly tending to the train engine for a week, and it's starting to wear him down. With Billie Jo and Kate away, Betty Jo tries to delay labor. When she finally goes into labor, they struggle to rouse Wendell, leaving Betty Jo to operate the Cannonball on her own. In the end, she welcomes a baby girl, and Billie Jo and Kate return just in time to celebrate.
