S6E6 Wings
Gus Huffle, the proprietor of Pixley Bijou theater, has made the tough choice to shut down due to dwindling crowds. Sam points out that a significant issue is the absence of Richard Arlen and Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, who opted for a premiere at the Roxy in New York City instead of attending their own film's debut at the Bijou. In frustration, Joe pens a scathing letter to the stars. Upon receiving it, Arlen and Rogers decide that making an appearance at the long-overdue premiere in Hooterville could boost their image. The town enthusiastically welcomes them with a grand parade and lively performances.
