S1E12 The Crystal Scarab

Title: The Crystal Scarab Plot: Desperate to save his ailing daughter, Samantha, Clayton acquires a mystical scarab and a ring from a mysterious merchant. The scarab is said to heal anything it touches, but the ring requires a human's life force to activate. When Clayton dons the ring, he sacrifices his own vitality to restore Samantha's health. Though she awakens cured, Clayton appears gravely weakened and escapes. With Derek, a long-time friend, Samantha stays at the Legacy House as they search for Clayton and unravel the mystery of her rapid recovery. That night, Samantha collapses again, as Clayton can no longer provide his life force. She is rushed back to the hospital, slipping into a coma. Meanwhile, the scarab keeps Clayton alive, allowing him to transfer the ring to a new host. A thief steals the ring, and as it drains his life, Samantha miraculously revives once more.
