In 1844 Ireland, a rebellious spirit becomes enamored with the daughter of a squire, unwittingly changing her fate. To set things right, angels transport them to modern-day Providence Falls. There, he faces the challenge of making her fall in love with someone else, but she's now a police officer who has no recollection of their previous lives together.
