On Christmas Eve, Sakuta finds himself in a vivid dream where, instead of spending the evening with Mai, he goes on a date with a fellow student, Sara Himeji, from his part-time job at a cram school. Interestingly, Sara shares the same dream and reveals that she is also affected by her own version of Puberty Syndrome. She expresses her reluctance to seek a cure, as her symptoms stem from a past heartbreak and actually help her feel more confident and popular with boys. Sakuta cautions her about the risks involved, to which she provocatively asks, “What’s the secret to loving others like you do, Mr. Sakuta?”
