After being knocked out by Subaru's blow, Rem slips into a haunting dream that revisits a painful memory she and Ram wish to erase—an unforgivable transgression in Rem's eyes. Upon regaining consciousness, she confesses to Subaru that she has repeated the same mistake. Just as the Ulgarm pack closes in on them, Subaru bravely diverts their focus, allowing Ram and Rem a chance to flee to safety.
