Episode Overview

In 1720, a vampiric count vanishes with a mystical chalice just as an angry mob approaches. Fast forward to today, and alluring vampire novelist and lecturer Lucas Blackmer seeks Sydney’s assistance to locate the chalice, believed to prolong a vampire's life. The chalice was lost with Count Stanislov three centuries ago. Meanwhile, Karen and Nigel explore Blackmer’s apartment, uncovering clues that hint at his vampiric nature, including contact lenses, sunblock, and a coffin. They encounter Kantor, a vampire hunter, who surprisingly spares them. Sydney and Lucas then search Stanislov's castle and discover a hidden tomb under a fountain in Prague. Kantor, convinced of their intentions, attempts to eliminate them, but Lucas bleeds like any human, and Sydney knocks out Kantor. Ultimately, they learn Lucas enjoys immersing himself in his vampire persona and has been using their adventures as fodder for his upcoming novel.
