Episode Overview

In 1522 A.D. New Guinea, Sydney and Nigel find themselves fleeing from headhunters after retrieving a lancet, which Nigel accidentally cuts himself with. They encounter a rival relic hunter who looks just like Nigel, but he falls victim to a trap, allowing them to escape. While Sydney attends a conference, Nigel is approached by Interpol agent Cate Hemphill. She reveals that his doppelgänger, Ian Worthingham, was a relic thief planning to sell the lancet and asks Nigel to impersonate him to uncover the buyer. As he adopts Ian's identity, Nigel displays remarkable strength, convincing others he is indeed "Nigel Bailey." Eventually, he contacts Anjou from the secret society Grel N'toz, but Anjou sees through the ruse. After the effects of the lancet fade, Anjou uses it to gain super-strength, leaving even Sydney powerless to intervene.
