S1E2 Father Is My Light

Richard longs to join his father, the Duke of York, on the battlefield, but his mother Cecily forbids him, warning, "Your words could lead to a curse that brings ruin to others." While imprisoned in a tower, Richard learns that King Henry VI of the Lancaster line is also there. He dreams of slaying the king and presenting his crown to his father. However, the situation grows dire as the Duke of York is captured following a brutal clash with Queen Margaret and her Lancaster army.
