A decade later, King Edward IV relishes a fortune-telling "destiny cake" during a lavish banquet. He picks a cake shaped like a "G," but the wine-red hue of the letter raises questions about what lies ahead. At the celebration, Edward IV encounters a woman named Jane. Meanwhile, Richard returns to the royal palace after a long absence, now married to Anne, and their son Edward is thriving. However, their joy masks a deeper emptiness.
