Richard assumes the responsibility of looking after Edward IV, but following the king's demise, Queen Elizabeth's brother Anthony schemes to place a young prince on the throne while positioning himself as regent. As part of his plan, Anthony tries to apprehend Richard on charges of treason, but Buckingham is secretly plotting in the background. Eventually, Buckingham uncovers Richard's hidden truth, prompting Richard to share a chilling vision: "If you cannot flee from your destiny... then embrace the devil within."
