To secure the future of his television company, Corinium, Tony Baddingham recruits the talented interviewer Declan O'Hara and the driven American producer Cameron Cook. As the O'Hara family settles into their new rural home, Declan faces a harsh reality on his first day at work, while his wife Maud and daughter Taggie adapt to their new surroundings and neighbors. Caught in the escalating conflict between Tony and Rupert Campbell-Black, Declan begins to wonder if he made the right choice in pursuing this new career path.
