Exhausted from his efforts to access the Mountain Area, Kay collapses just as he arrives. Alf discovers Kay in distress but chooses not to offer any help. As Selly and Duck follow Kay into the tunnel, they eventually find Alf. Duck carries the injured Kay back to his base while Selly uncovers the truth: Alf survived thanks to the sacrifices made by his friends.
