One fateful morning, a train is discovered derailed and completely drained of energy. As onlookers express their concern, the train suddenly revives and accuses Duke of the sabotage. Doubts about Duke resurface among the group, prompting them to demand an explanation from him. Kay defends Duke fiercely, yet suspicion begins to creep in for Alf and Duck as well. Ultimately, Duke, feeling cornered, announces that he will choose to isolate himself as a form of punishment.
