Ruby Rose, an aspiring Huntress, and her older sister Yang Xiao Long arrive at Beacon Academy, a prestigious school for training Huntsmen. There, Ruby catches the attention of Ozpin, the headmaster. Meanwhile, Weiss Schnee, the daughter of the powerful Schnee Dust Company, has a falling out with her father after defeating an Arma Gigas, prompting her to leave home. Blake Belladonna, a former member of the White Fang, a group opposed to the S.D.C., also breaks away from her past. These four girls, each with their own dreams and hidden desires, embark on their journey to become Huntsmen.
