Legend speaks of young warriors clad in mystical armor called Cloths, harnessing the power of Cosmos to serve the goddess Athena. These warriors are known as Saints. In Japan, two Saints engage in a fierce battle in a colosseum, eagerly anticipated by their host, Saori Kido, who awaits the arrival of the Pegasus Saint. Meanwhile, in Athens, a young Japanese fighter named Seiya faces off against his rival Cassios, ultimately severing his ear and triumphing with his Meteor of Pegasus technique to claim the Pegasus Bronze Cloth. Later that night, Cassios' mentor, Shaina, seeks revenge and attacks Seiya. While he manages to injure her while donning the Pegasus Cloth, he struggles briefly to control its power. Just as Shaina's henchmen close in, Seiya recalls his teacher Marin's guidance, turning the tide and defeating them with his Meteor of Pegasus. In the process, he shatters Shaina's mask, revealing her identity. The
