Episode Overview

In his final moments, Baian warns Seiya that he will never succeed in destroying the pillar. Seiya's attacks, Comet and Meteor of Pegasus, prove ineffective, causing no damage at all. At the same time, Kiki is rescued by Ophiucius Shaina, who arrives with the Libra Gold Cloth on Roshi's instructions. Seiya contemplates sacrificing himself to take down the pillar, but Kiki intervenes and presents him with the Gold Cloth. Meanwhile, Shaina engages in battle with Thetis. The Golden Shield then flies into Seiya's grasp, allowing him to unleash a powerful throw that finally obliterates the North Pacific Mammoth Pillar.
