In this episode, Shiryu confronts the Black Dragon, while Shun desperately attempts to rescue Seiya, who is on the brink of death due to the effects of Black Pegasus' Black Death Horror. Despite being weakened from blood loss, Shiryu is willing to put his life on the line for the sake of friendship—something the Black Dragon struggles to comprehend, as he dismisses the very concept of camaraderie.
