Episode Overview
Tragedies unfold worldwide due to the actions of the Sanctuary's agents. In Greece, the Pope of the Sanctuary is enraged by Docrates' failure to return with the Gold Cloth. As Marin faces imminent death at the hands of Shina, Aiolia intervenes and saves her. Marin reveals that the previous Pope has mysteriously died and his younger brother, Ares, has taken over, ushering in a troubling era for the Sanctuary. Meanwhile, in Japan, Saori finds herself in the planetarium dome where her grandfather, Mitsumasa Kido, appears. He warns her that the Gold Cloth appears when crises loom and urges her to lead the Bronze Saints to victory, just like Athena. Elsewhere, Docrates' henchmen search for him under the rocks until he finally appears, and they head toward the Kido Mansion. The following morning, Docrates launches an assault on the mansion.
