Ikki confides in Mime about his deep self-loathing for having killed his father, believing that he must atone for his actions by saving Asgard from Hilda's fury. This prompts Mime to recall how Folker had trained him, anticipating that he would be selected as a God Warrior to defend Asgard. As they engage in battle, Ikki manages to hold his ground against Mime, with neither gaining the upper hand.
