Alberich sets off with the intention of defeating the Saints. As they draw nearer to the Valhalla Palace, Shiryu finally regains his strength after the fall. Alberich's resentment towards Hilda has always simmered, fueled by her failure to recognize his intellect, and he secretly plots to seize the Odin Sapphires for himself. Suddenly, a Saint attacks him in an attempt to flee, revealing herself as Eagle Marin. Alberich taunts Marin, showing her his collection of trapped skeletal warriors encased in amethyst.
