Ikki arrives after his confrontation with Mime, resolute in his commitment to support his brother. Enraged by the bond shared between Shun and Ikki, Bud launches an attack, insisting that compassion serves no purpose. In a surprising turn, Ikki manages to block Bud's lightning-fast strike before they engage in combat. During their fight, Bud's helmet is knocked off, revealing a face identical to Syd's. Bud discloses that Syd is his younger twin. When Ikki questions him about his failure to assist Syd, Bud chillingly replies that if Syd perishes, he will ascend as the true God Warrior of Zeta, no longer living in anyone's shadow.
