The passing of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Japan's leader, throws the nation into chaos once more. Mitsunari Ishida takes a stand to defend the Toyotomi clan against the powerful Tokugawa faction. However, his actions lead to misinterpretations, ultimately pushing him further into isolation and complicating the situation for both himself and the clan he seeks to protect.
