Rachel catches Dom sharing a beer with Sean and promptly takes the can from him, cautioning Sean about Dom's drinking issues. Sean expresses a desire for Rachel to meet his son from his previous marriage, suggesting she might take on the role of ‘other mummy.’ Despite Sean’s persistent hints about marriage, Rachel firmly maintains that they are not engaged. Meanwhile, Andy invites Janet for a drink to discuss something important, but she declines. Gill is compelled to leave a meeting regarding a mercy mission for Sammy due to Dave's drunken state and seeks Janet’s assistance to get him to his mother’s. In a shocking turn, a woman with a green face, dressed in a provocative police outfit, is found dead in a field at Dob Cross, leading Gill to suspect a romantic involvement in the murder.
