Qin Shi and Yanghua hurry to the airport, where they discover Ms. Lan anxiously waiting for Pang Dingfang. They stay with her until the clock strikes midnight, during which Ms. Lan comes to the painful realization that she has been misled. Determined to take control of her life, she resolves to initiate divorce proceedings and asks Qin Shi to represent her in the case.
