Yor Briar, a civil servant, leads a double life as the deadly assassin known as the Thorn Princess. Recently, there have been suspicions surrounding single women, causing Yor to feel anxious. At the same time, Loid is on the lookout for someone to portray Anya's mother for an important interview at Eden College. By chance, he encounters Yor at a boutique. Anya, using her telepathy, discovers Yor's secret and encourages Loid to invite her to take on the role of her mother.
