FBI agents Matt Flannery and Emily Lehman, experts in crisis negotiation, find themselves in a tense standoff with a soap opera star on the brink of losing custody of his children. Once that situation is defused, they swiftly shift their focus to a more urgent crisis: the son of a state senator has taken hostages in a coffee shop while wearing a makeshift suicide vest. The stakes are high as they work to resolve this dangerous situation.
