During a typical shopping excursion on Coruscant, C-3PO is captured by the notorious bounty hunter, Cad Bane. Bane seeks intel on the Senate building for Jabba the Hutt. When he realizes C-3PO has no valuable information, Bane and his team take R2-D2 hostage to extract the crucial details. After acquiring the floor plans and security information, they erase the droids' memories of the entire ordeal and release them. This information is part of a larger scheme by the Hutt families to orchestrate the escape of their imprisoned brother, Ziro the Hutt, who possesses potentially damaging secrets regarding Hutt operations.
