As the planet of romance, Venus, makes its ascent, the atmosphere at the Observatory becomes charged with heightened emotions. Paul’s nonexistent love life becomes the center of attention, prompting him to concoct a story about a romantic fling with a woman he encountered at the bar. As the fabrication spirals out of control, Paul finds himself reaping unforeseen rewards, including Rachel's growing interest in him and newfound responsibilities at work. What started as a simple ruse quickly transforms into a tangled web of deception and unexpected consequences.
