Abby finds herself alone after getting separated from Jenny and Greg, and she encounters Jimmy Garland (Richard Heffer), who is fiercely battling Knox (Peter Jeffrey). Garland, the rightful heir to the Waterhouse estate now controlled by Knox, is determined to reclaim it and restore the community thriving there. However, when Knox captures Abby, he attempts to manipulate her by claiming that Garland has only made things worse and that he’s open to negotiation.
