Charles makes his way back to the Walter’s farm, where he finds a relieved Jenny and Agnes waiting for him. Meanwhile, Hubert uncovers that the cows are suffering from brucellosis and takes care of them. Charles and Jenny decide to go upriver in search of a veterinarian named Bill Sheridan. They meet Bill and his partner, Alice, and the next day, Charles and Bill return to the farm. On their way back to join Jenny and Alice, they spot a car on the road, leading Charles to speculate that Greg might be behind the wheel. Excited by the news, Jenny teams up with Bill to find him. Before they depart, they all agree to meet at Highley train station, hoping for a successful market day.
