Modula unleashes a new, lethal creature on the group, prompting Lance, Ilana, and Octus to care for an adorable alien pet they had found. However, they soon realize that this seemingly innocent creature has the potential to unleash catastrophic energy that could annihilate Earth. With heavy hearts, they decide to let their cherished pet pass away peacefully in a brilliant explosion of energy. At an astronomy center, Octus discovers a nebula cluster where they release their pet, and the station's scientist allows them to name it. They choose the name Tashy 497, combining their ideas for the creature's name.
