S3E16 Louie Bumps into an Old Lady

While driving his cab to mentor a new driver, Louie accidentally hits an elderly woman crossing the street. In a bid to avoid a lawsuit, he tries to help her, but soon discovers she plans to sue him for a million dollars. Alex recognizes the woman as a notorious con artist known for scamming cab drivers by feigning injuries. He strikes a deal with Louie to locate her past victims for testimony in exchange for Louie treating him with more respect. However, it turns out the woman truly has a broken leg and is genuinely wheelchair-bound. When the trial arrives, Alex shows up solo after failing to find witnesses for Louie. Seizing an opportunity, Louie devises a plan to demonstrate that she’s faking her injury right in front of the courtroom.
