S3E17 Bobby and the Critic
Bobby is energized as he prepares for his one-man show, especially after encountering a harsh theater critic who has been tearing his work apart in reviews. Frustrated, Bobby writes a furious letter to the critic but ultimately decides to discard it, feeling better after expressing his anger. However, Louie digs the letter out of the trash and sends it off, resulting in its publication in the newspaper. Suddenly, Bobby finds himself receiving support from fellow actors, but his excitement turns to anxiety when he discovers the critic will be attending his performance. After the show, the critic approaches Bobby, offering him an excellent review of his work. Bobby is thrilled until the critic reveals he won’t publish it, explaining that withholding a review will leave Bobby in obscurity and serve as his own form of revenge.
