Jim asks Elaine to join him at a concert, where they unexpectedly meet a significant supporter of Elaine's art gallery. The patron extends an invitation for them to attend a party, but Elaine is anxious about Jim potentially making a scene at such a crucial event for her career. Despite her concerns, she struggles to tell him not to come. At the party, her fears seem to come true when Jim's antics cause a stir, but he ultimately surprises everyone by showcasing his piano skills, shifting the atmosphere entirely.
