A software malfunction leads Cameron to lose her memory, prompting her to vanish from the Connors' home. She is soon taken in by a streetwise girl named Jody. Together, they find refuge at a halfway house, where Cameron encounters a social worker who helps her recall some faded memories. Meanwhile, Catherine Weaver has a meeting with Agent Ellison to talk about his prospects at Zeira Corp, during which Ellison begins to investigate Weaver’s history further.
