While overseeing the enhancements in Goblin Village alongside Kaijin and the dwarves, Rimuru encounters a group of adventurers from the Guild, accompanied by a mysterious masked figure named Shizu. It soon becomes apparent that Shizu is the individual foretold in Rimuru's destiny. Unlike Rimuru, who arrived recently, Shizu was summoned from Japan many years prior. To bridge their worlds, Rimuru employs his Thought Communication ability to share glimpses of modern Japan with her, unveiling the stark contrasts between their experiences.
