In the new series The Critical Factor, contestants are pushed to their limits; Jilted Jim makes unexpected friends in Hawaii after his wife elopes with the wedding DJ. Dr. Tia continues her life-saving work, admiring the resilience of the people in Botswana. A reasonable boss interrupts a tense terrorist interrogation to invite his employee out for a birthday pizza, while Divorced Dad shares graphic details of his new girlfriend's intimate life with his teenage son. Things take a turn for the worse when a suave man buys a drink for a stunning woman at a bar, only for the night to spiral out of control as she spots his ponytail.
