A powerful figure from Mexico's Los Zetas drug cartel heads to Toronto for a meeting with the brutal MS-13 gang. Ramon Esteban, a Mexican journalist and the new boyfriend of Kessler's ex-wife Terri, has drawn the ire of the cartel due to his exposés on their operations. When Kessler, Carver, and Gray try to move Ramon from Terri's safe house into protective custody, they are ambushed by an aggressive MS-13 assault. Kessler finds himself compelled to rally an unexpected group of allies to defend them.
