The Diary of Anne Frank (2009)

S1E1 Amsterdam 6th July 1942

For her 13th birthday, Anne receives a diary, a gift that excites her. However, the joy is short-lived when her parents receive call-up papers for her sister, prompting them to make the difficult decision to go into hiding from the Nazis. The family must now navigate the challenges of secrecy and fear as they seek safety in a world that has become increasingly dangerous.
