The Diary of Anne Frank (2009)

When Anne's family learns that the Dutch government is requesting diaries detailing wartime experiences, Anne is motivated to share her own. Aspiring to become a professional writer, she struggles to balance her time with Peter. While she is in the midst of writing an entry in her diary, the family is abruptly jolted awake by the noise of intruders lurking downstairs.
