Dad has left his job to pursue making sock monkeys, leaving the Turners without any income. In response, Mom decides to transform their home into a bed and breakfast. Things take a strange turn when their first guests include Mr. Crocker, Dark Laser, and Tootie, all of whom have their own intentions regarding Timmy—either to eliminate him or to shower him with affection. As Timmy dashes around trying to keep one step ahead of his unusual houseguests, he must figure out a way to send them packing without resorting to the very fairy magic that Crocker is determined to capture.
