Title: Episode Five Plot: Years have gone by since Irene departed, and Soames has made up his mind to seek a divorce. He is enamored with a young woman named Annette Lamotte, who co-manages a restaurant in Soho with her mother. Soames enlists Young Jolyon, the trustee of his father's legacy to Irene, to inquire if Annette can provide grounds for their divorce. However, Annette insists to Jolyon that she has no romantic involvement, a claim Soames dismisses.
